Monsters of Folk è un supergruppo americano formatosi nel 2004 da Jim James dei My Morning Jacket, Conor Oberst e Mike Mogis di Bright Eyes e M. Ward. L'idea nacque durante i tour con i rispettivi progetti solisti e band. Dopo aver suonato insieme sia sul palco che dietro le quinte, decisero di collaborare a un progetto comune.
