Sepultura è una band heavy metal brasiliana formatasi a Belo Horizonte nel 1984. Considerati pionieri del thrash metal latinoamericano, hanno raggiunto fama internazionale negli anni '90 grazie all'album *Roots* (1996), che ha introdotto elementi di musica tradizionale brasiliana e tribali.
