Crass war eine englische Punkband, die 1977 gegründet wurde. Als Pioniere des Anarcho-Punks förderten sie den Anarchismus als politische Ideologie, Lebensweise und Widerstandsmusbewegung. Ihre Musik, oft geprägt von experimentellen Klängen und politisch aufgeladenen Texten, trug zur Verbreitung der DIY (Do It Yourself)-Kultur innerhalb der Punkbewegung bei.
