Helloween ist eine deutsche Power-Metal-Band, die in den 1980er Jahren in Hamburg gegründet wurde. Sie gelten als einer der Pioniere des Genres neben Blind Guardian und veröffentlichten ihr Debütalbum *Walls of Jericho* im Jahr 1985. Dieses Album definierte den Stil des Power Metals und bleibt bis heute ein Referenzpunkt für die Szene. 1987 stieß mit Michael Kiske ein neuer Sänger zum Band hinzu, was mit dem Album *Keeper of the Seven Keys, Part 1* zu einem weiteren Erfolg führte. Das darauf folgende Album *Keeper of the Seven Keys, Part II* (1988) gilt als ihr wichtigstes Werk und ein Klassiker des Power Metals.
