Battle è stata una band indie rock britannica attiva tra la fine degli anni '90 e il 2007. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da post-punk, riff di chitarra spaziali e ritmi orientati alla danza, ha attirato confronti con artisti come The Cure, New Order e Joy Division. Nel corso della loro carriera, hanno esplorato sonorità più organiche e atmosferiche, rivelando influenze di The Smiths, Talking Heads (periodo Remain in Light) e Arcade Fire.
