Hoobastank è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi in California nel 1994. Il gruppo è composto da Douglas Robb (voce, chitarra), Dan Estrin (chitarra), Chris Hesse (batteria) e Markku Lappalainen (basso). Dopo aver autoprodotto l'album "They Sure Don't Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used To" nel 1998, Hoobastank ha firmato con la Island Records nel 2000.
