Malevolent Creation è una band di death metal statunitense formatasi a Buffalo, New York nel 1987. Considerati uno dei pilastri del genere, hanno contribuito in modo significativo alla scena death metal degli anni '90 con un sound brutale e tecnico. Il loro stile musicale si caratterizza per riff veloci e complessi, blast beat incessanti e testi oscuri che esplorano temi di morte, violenza e satanismo. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Eternal Darkness", "The Serpent's Curse" e "Bloodshed". L'album di debutto "Retribution" (1990) è considerato un classico del genere death metal. La band ha attraversato diverse formazioni nel corso degli anni, con Phil Fasciana come voce principale per la maggior parte della loro storia.
