Death By Stereo è una band hardcore punk formatasi ad Orange County, in California, intorno al 1996 dal frontman Efrem Schulz. Conosciuti per le loro performance energetiche e l'intricato lavoro di chitarra, il nome della band deriva dal film horror del 1987 *The Lost Boys*, in cui Corey Haim pronuncia la frase "Death by Stereo".
