Biografia

I Jackson 5 sono stati uno dei gruppi disco-pop più popolari degli anni '70, dando vita alla carriera da solista di grande successo del cantante principale Michael Jackson. Anche Jermaine Jackson ha riscosso successo come artista solista, mentre la sorella Janet Jackson (che non faceva parte dei Jackson 5) è diventata una popstar negli anni '80. Il gruppo, originario di Gary, nell'Indiana, era composto da cinque fratelli: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon e Michael. Iniziarono a esibirsi nel 1964 come The Jackson Brothers, cambiando poi nome in The Jackson 5 nel 1968. Sotto la guida del padre Joseph Jackson, il gruppo ha firmato con la Motown Records e ha subito raggiunto il successo nazionale con singoli come "ABC", "I Want You Back" e "Never Can Say Goodbye".
