Testament è una band di thrash metal statunitense formatasi a Santa Clara, in California, nel 1983. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del genere, pur non essendo mai riusciti ad ottenere lo stesso successo commerciale di Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth e Anthrax (i cosiddetti "Big Four del Thrash").
