Deliverance è una band americana di metal cristiano formatasi nel 1985 da Jimmy P. Brown II. Inizialmente classificati come thrash metal, hanno poi abbracciato sonorità più vicine all'heavy metal e al progressive metal. Pur avendo visto diversi cambiamenti nella formazione nel corso degli anni, con alcuni membri che sono rientrati dopo periodi di assenza, Jimmy P. Brown II è l'unico componente rimasto costante fin dalla fondazione del gruppo. Deliverance ha contribuito a definire il genere di metal cristiano negli anni '80 e '90, influenzando numerose band successive.
