Steve Lukather è un musicista statunitense nato a Los Angeles nel 1958. Noto per essere il chitarrista, cantante e produttore dei Toto, gruppo di rock progressivo con cui ha collaborato fin dalla sua formazione negli anni '70. Lukather è considerato uno dei chitarristi più influenti del suo tempo, apprezzato per la sua tecnica virtuosistica, l'approccio melodico e la capacità di unire elementi di jazz, funk e rock. Oltre al lavoro con i Toto, Lukather ha collaborato con numerosi artisti come Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, George Harrison e molti altri. Tra i brani più rappresentativi dei Toto figurano "Africa", "Rosanna" e "Hold the Line". Lukather è stato anche un produttore discografico di successo, lavorando con artisti come Boz Scaggs e Joe Satriani.
