Alan Parsons è un musicista e produttore inglese nato nel 1948. Iniziò la sua carriera come ingegnere del suono, collaborando con artisti di fama mondiale come Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Paul McCartney, The Hollies e Al Stewart. È noto soprattutto per il suo lavoro su *The Dark Side of the Moon* (1973) dei Pink Floyd, album considerato uno dei più grandi della storia del rock. Nel 1974 formò il gruppo Alan Parsons Project, con cui ottenne successo internazionale negli anni '70 e '80.
