Guano Apes è una band rock tedesca formatasi nel 1990 a Göttingen da Henning Rümenapp (chitarra), Dennis Poschwatta (basso) e Stefan Ude (batteria). Nel 1994 si unì alla formazione Sandra Nasic come vocalist. La band ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con l'album di debutto *Proud Like a God* (1997), che include i singoli "Open Your Eyes", "Keep Me Closer" e "No More". Il loro sound, caratterizzato da riff energici, melodie orecchiabili e testi in inglese, ha conquistato un pubblico vasto. Tra gli album successivi ricordiamo *Don't Give a Shit* (2000), *Walking on a Thin Line* (2003) e *Bel Air* (2014). Guano Apes è considerata una delle band rock tedesche più influenti degli anni '90 e 2000, con un'impronta significativa nel panorama musicale europeo.
