Legion of the Damned ist eine niederländische Thrash/Death-Metal-Band, die 2004 aus den Überresten der Gruppe Occult hervorging, nachdem Sängerin Rachel Heyzer ausgestiegen war. Ihre Lieder erforschen Horror-Themen, Okkultismus, Religion und Apokalypse. Sie nahmen die Alben *Malevolent Rapture* und *Sons of the Jackal* im Stage One Studio mit dem Produzenten Andy Classen auf.
