Stars è una band canadese di indie pop formatasi a Toronto nel 2000, ma ora parte della fiorente scena indie di Montreal. Tre dei membri fanno anche parte di Broken Social Scene: il fondatore e cantante Torquil Campbell, Amy Millan ed Evan Cranley. La band ha attirato l'attenzione per la prima volta con il secondo album *Heart* (2003). *Set Yourself On Fire* (2004) è stato accolta dalla critica e nominato per un Juno Award come Album alternativo canadese dell'anno.
