Marco Mengoni è un cantautore italiano nato a Ronciglione (VT) nel 1989. Dopo aver partecipato a diversi talent show, ha raggiunto la fama nazionale nel 2013 vincendo il Festival di Sanremo con il brano "L'essenziale". Il suo stile musicale si caratterizza per un mix di pop, rock e sonorità elettroniche, spesso accompagnate da testi introspettivi e poetici. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo "Felicemente", "Le cose che non ho detto" e "Materia prima".
