Pedro the Lion è stato un gruppo indie rock di Seattle, Washington, formato dal cantautore David Bazan nel 1995. Bazan rappresentava la principale forza creativa del gruppo, supportato da una rotazione di musicisti collaboratori. T. W. Walsh è considerato l'unico membro ufficiale della band oltre a Bazan. Nel 2006, Bazan e Walsh si sono separati in amicizia e Pedro the Lion si è sciolto quando Bazan ha intrapreso la carriera solista.
