Periwinkle princess
You've got all these big plans
Do you mind
If I set
Them on fire?
I'll feign zero interest
You'll hope for the right man
But I think
That would make
Us both liars
I want more than just nice
Words said in the blue light
Is it wrong place or the wrong time?
Wrong pace or a wrong life?
I'm trying to love you, alright?
And I'm hitting everything on the way down
It's trial and error that's why
I'm drunk on you and I
Stumblin' 'round
Let's mess it up til we know how
Periwinkle princess
You've got all these big plans
Do you mind
If I set
Them on fire?
Kicking all the dirt up
Trying to keep it all fair
But the cords are not dead
They're hot wired
I want you more when we fight
Love me till we can't try
Is it wrong place or the wrong time?
Wrong pace or a wrong life?
I'm trying to love you, alright?
And I'm hitting everything on the way down
It's trial and error that's why
I'm drunk on you and I
Stumblin' 'round
Let's mess it up til we know how
Crashing
Head first hope you catch me
I'd rather hit the ground
Than never know how you could
Help me
Put your arms around me
So I can take the crown
That always weighs you down
I'm trying to love you, alright?
And I'm hitting everything on the way down
It's trial and error that's why
I'm drunk on you and I
Stumblin' 'round
Let's mess it up til we know how
