Funeral for a Friend è una band britannica di emo rock formatasi nel 2001 con il nome January Thirst. Il nome cambiò con l'uscita del loro primo EP, *Between Order and Model*, nel 2002. Con la pubblicazione del secondo EP, *Four Ways To Scream Your Name*, la band firmò con la Warner Brothers.
