Echo and the Bunnymen sono un gruppo musicale britannico di Liverpool formatosi nel 1978. Il nucleo originario era composto da Ian McCulloch (voce), Will Sergeant (chitarra) e Les Pattinson (basso). In seguito si unì il batterista Pete de Freitas. Il loro debutto discografico, *Crocodiles*, risale al 1980, seguito da *Heaven Up Here* nel 1981.
