Armored Saint è una band heavy metal statunitense formatasi a Los Angeles nel 1982. Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento thrash metal degli anni '80, hanno contribuito a definire il suono aggressivo e melodico di questo genere musicale. Il loro sound si caratterizza per riff potenti, ritmi incalzanti e testi spesso ispirati a temi sociali e politici. Tra i membri più noti figurano il bassista Joey Vera e il cantante John Bush, che ha poi prestato la sua voce ai gruppi Anthrax e Armored Saint. Tra gli album più importanti ricordiamo *Delirious Nomad* (1983), *March of the Saint* (1984) e *Revelation* (1987). Armored Saint si è sciolto nel 1990 per poi riunirsi nel 2006, continuando a registrare e esibirsi con successo fino ad oggi.
