Hold tight, tonight it's serious
One taste, one touch, I'm into us
I'm patient, but your body's breathing life beside me
I'm alright
Can't kiss, can't sip your lips enough
Can't wait for the right time to take you home
I'm patient, but your body's breathing life beside me, I
I've got the coolest imagination
If you have the freedom to come and play
We can walk the valley of the dreamers
For the day
I want to take my time
Why don't we take our time?
I want to feel the rise again
The beating of my heart, and then
I never want to say goodbye
Secrets of our past lives
We'll never turn back time
Now that I feel alive again
I'll never let a good thing die
I'll never let a good thing die
I'll never let a good thing—
You dance real close, I'm into that
My body knows, no looking back
When I face you I believe in even my surprising fairytale
I had no plans to meet you
I woke up in a state
Said, "I wonder what's in store for me today?"
But everything about you
Says love has more to say
It feels so good to meet you
I want to take my time (Take my time)
Why don't we take our time? (Why can't I take my time?)
I want to feel the rise again
The beating of my heart, and then
I never want to say goodbye
Secrets of our past lives
We'll never turn back time
Now that I feel alive again
I'll never let a good thing die
I'll never let a good thing die
I'll never let a good thing—
By the way, by the way
Been thinking about you and you're my favourite
Holiday, holiday
Been thinking about you in new locations
Wake up, wake up (Wake up)
Wake up now
By the way, by the way
Been thinking about you and you're my favorite
Holiday, holiday
Been thinking about you in new locations
Wake up, wake up (Wake up)
Wake up now
Stars don't feel the weight of it
They're waiting in the blankets of our room
Destiny's amazing
When a flower that was hopeless starts to bloom
I want to take our time
I want to feel alive
I want to take my time
I want to take our time
I want to feel alive
I want to take my time
