Angra è una band di power metal proveniente da San Paolo, Brasile, nota per le sue interludi sinfoniche, la tecnica strumentale elevata e gli elementi regionali. Fondata nel 1991, il gruppo ha raggiunto un'ampia popolarità in patria e all'estero grazie a album come "Angels Cry" (1993) e "Fireworks" (1995), che hanno contribuito a definire l'estetica del power metal brasiliano.
