Tankard è una band thrash metal proveniente da Francoforte sul Meno, in Germania, fondata nel 1982. Dopo aver perso il chitarrista a causa dell'immagine di un gruppo di ubriachi, la band ha pubblicato il suo primo disco nel 1986.
