Pure Prairie League è un gruppo musicale country-rock americano formatosi tra il 1964 e il 1969 a Waverly, Ohio, da Craig Fuller, Tom McGrail, Jim Caughlan e John David Call. Il nome del gruppo fu scelto nel 1970 da McGrail in onore di una lega di temperanza del XIX secolo menzionata nel film del 1939 *Dodge City*. La band ha avuto un lungo periodo di attività, attivo dagli anni '70 alla fine degli anni '80 e poi riattivato a fine anni '90 per un breve periodo, e ancora una volta nel 2004.
