The Rocket Summer ist das Rock-Musikprojekt des amerikanischen Multiinstrumentalisten und Songwriters Bryce Avary. Geboren 1982 in Kalifornien, begann Avary im Alter von 14 Jahren Musik zu komponieren und veröffentlichte seine ersten Werke online. 2003 erschien sein Debütalbum "The Rocket Summer", gefolgt von weiteren Erfolgen wie "Do You Feel Me?" (2005) und "Sweetness" (2007). Avary ist bekannt für seinen Indie-Rock-Stil, der sich durch eingängige Melodien, nachdenkliche Texte und eine kreative Instrumentierung auszeichnet. Neben dem Gesang und Gitarrenspiel kümmert sich Avary auch um die Produktion seiner Alben und zeigt damit große künstlerische Vielseitigkeit.
