Fiddler's Green ist eine deutsche Band aus Erlangen, die 1990 gegründet wurde. Sie spielen unabhängigen irischen Speedfolk, der sich durch schnelle Rhythmen und traditionelle irische Melodien auszeichnet, die in einem modernen Stil interpretiert werden. Ihr erstes Konzert unter dem Namen Fiddler's Green fand im November 1990 beim Newcomer-Festival in Erlangen statt, wo die Band den zweiten Platz belegte. 1992 veröffentlichten sie ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum, eine Mischung aus Live- und Studioaufnahmen sowie traditionellen und eigenen Songs. Das Album erschien auf ihrem eigenen unabhängigen Label, Deaf Shepherd Recordings. Obwohl sie einen Vertrag mit einem Major-Label hatten, entschieden sie sich für die Rückkehr zur Unabhängigkeit. Zu den bekanntesten Liedern der Band gehören "The Wild Rover", "Whiskey in the Jar" und "Seven Drunken Nights".
