Sugarland are the American country music pairing of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. Originally a trio, they were formed by singer-songwriter Kristen Hall, who has since left. The three used to play in and around the Atlanta music scene in the late 90s and early 2000s. Their first album Premium Quality Tunes was released in 2003, available only as a download or at their gigs. Some of the tracks made it to the follow-up Twice the Speed of Life which was given a full release in 2004. One of the tracks, \"Baby Girl\", spent almost a year in the Billboard Hot Country Tracks chart and helped push the album to double platinum status, selling over 2 million copies.
