Die Backstreet Boys sind eine amerikanische Pop-Vocal-Gruppe, die 1993 in Orlando, Florida, gegründet wurde. Ihr Manager Lou Pearlman ließ sich vom Erfolg der New Kids on the Block inspirieren und beschloss, ein ähnliches Projekt zu starten.
