Therion è un gruppo musicale svedese fondato nel 1987 a Väsby, vicino a Stoccolma. Considerati pionieri del symphonic metal, hanno attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, dal black metal iniziale al progressive metal, incorporando elementi classici, orchestrali e persino folk nella loro musica.
