Fountains of Wayne sono una rock band americana formatasi nel 1995 a New York. Il gruppo, composto da Adam Schlesinger (voce, chitarra), Chris Collingwood (chitarra, voce), Jody Porter (basso) e Brian Young (batteria), è noto per il suo sound pop-rock orecchiabile e le liriche spesso ironiche e autoironiche. Il loro successo più grande è stato "Stacey's Mom", singolo del 2003 che ha raggiunto la posizione numero 1 nelle classifiche alternative statunitensi e ha contribuito a far conoscere al pubblico internazionale il gruppo.
