Mogwai è un gruppo musicale post-rock scozzese formatosi a Glasgow nel 1996. Composto da Stuart Braithwaite (chitarra, voce), Dominic Aitchison (basso), Martin Bulloch (batteria) e John Cummings (tastiere, chitarra), il quartetto ha conquistato fama internazionale per la sua musica atmosferica ed emozionante, caratterizzata da intensi crescendo, riff ipnotici e momenti di silenziosa bellezza. Mogwai si è affermato come uno dei pilastri del post-rock, influenzando generazioni di musicisti con un sound che spazia dal rock progressivo all'ambient elettronico. La band ha pubblicato una decina di album in studio, tra cui "Young Team" (1997), considerato un classico del genere, e "Happy Songs for Happy People" (2006).
