The Trews sono una rock band canadese proveniente da Antigonish, Nuova Scozia. Il gruppo è composto da Colin MacDonald (voce), John-Angus MacDonald (chitarra), Jack Syperek (basso) e Sean Dalton (batteria). Attualmente la band risiede a Toronto, Ontario. The Trews hanno raggiunto una certa popolarità in Canada negli anni 2000 con un sound rock energico e melodico, influenzato da artisti come The Rolling Stones e AC/DC.
