Sparks the Rescue sono una band alternative rock americana proveniente da Portland, nel Maine. La formazione è avvenuta quando membri di tre gruppi scolastici, Pozer, Short of April e Two Girls Later, si sono uniti. Il loro primo EP, *Stumbling Skyward*, è stato pubblicato indipendentemente nel 2005 con McAllister e O'Connell che condividevano i cantanti principali. Nel 2006 la band ha rilasciato l'EP *Hey, Mr. Allure*, che ha visto l'aggiunta del cantante principale Alex Roy. Il 6 febbraio 2007 Sparks the Rescue hanno pubblicato il loro terzo EP, *The Secrets We Can't Keep*, dopo aver firmato con Double Blind Music. Questo rilascio ha segnato l'uscita del tastierista.
