Il gruppo, composto da Adam Schlesinger (voce, chitarra), Chris Collingwood (chitarra, voce), Jody Porter (basso) e Brian Young (batteria), è noto per il suo sound pop-rock orecchiabile e le liriche spesso ironiche e autoironiche.
