Hedley è una rock band canadese formatasi ad Abbotsford, British Columbia. Il gruppo prende il nome dalla cittadina di Hedley, nello stesso stato, scelta dopo aver appreso che era in vendita per 346.000 dollari. Il cantante principale Jacob Hoggard si è fatto conoscere partecipando al secondo season del talent show televisivo Canadian Idol nel 2004, classificandosi terzo. Il gruppo attuale mantiene il nome dell'originale formazione di Hoggard pre-Canadian Idol, anche se la composizione è cambiata nel tempo.
