Coal Chamber è stata una band di nu metal americana proveniente da Los Angeles, California. Il gruppo si è formato nel 1994 grazie a Dez Fafara e Meegs Rascon, che precedentemente avevano suonato insieme nella band She's In Pain. Dopo aver sostituito il primo batterista John Thor con Mike Cox, la formazione definitiva fu completata dall'arrivo del bassista Rayna Foss.
