Die Spin Doctors sind eine amerikanische Funkrock-Band, die 1986 in New York City gegründet wurde. Die Band besteht aus Chris Barron (Gesang), Eric Schenkman (Gitarre), Mark White (Bass) und Aaron Comess (Schlagzeug). Sie erreichten 1992 mit ihrem Debütalbum *Pocket Full of Kryptonite* den kommerziellen Durchbruch. Die Singles des Albums, darunter "Two Princes" (das Platz sieben der Billboard Hot 100 erreichte) und "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong", machten sie zu einer der beliebtesten Bands dieser Zeit. Ihr Sound zeichnet sich durch eine Mischung aus Funk, Alternative Rock und Jazz-Einflüssen aus, mit oft ironischen und sarkastischen Texten.
