Jefferson Starship è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a San Francisco nel 1974, dalla fusione di elementi del precedente Jefferson Airplane e dal progetto solista di Paul Kantner. Dopo lo scioglimento del Jefferson Airplane, Kantner riunì alcuni membri per formare il nuovo gruppo, che ha visto la partecipazione di artisti come Grace Slick, David Freiberg e Marty Balin.
