Hellyeah were formed when members of Pantera (Vinnie Paul) Mudvayne (Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett) and Nothingface (Tom Maxwell and Jerry Montano) got together to form a band in 2004, finalizing the line-up in 2006. The music they produced was timeless, hard driving, southern-tinged rock. They chose the name because, as Paul said, 'I realized that's totally the tone of the band'.
