Gorilla Biscuits è un gruppo hardcore punk statunitense formatosi a New York nel 1987. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del movimento hardcore newyorkese, hanno contribuito a definire il sound aggressivo e veloce di questo genere musicale. Il loro stile si caratterizza per la potenza delle chitarre distorte, i testi politici e sociali e l'energia frenetica delle performance live. Tra i membri fondatori troviamo Anthony Civarelli (voce), Arthur Smilios (chitarra) e Sammy Siegler (batteria). Il gruppo ha pubblicato tre album in studio: *Start Today* (1987), *Gorilla Biscuits* (1989) e *1988* (1990). Dopo lo scioglimento nel 1992, i Gorilla Biscuits si sono riuniti per alcuni concerti sporadici negli anni successivi. Nel 2015 hanno annunciato un nuovo album in studio, *Start Today*, che segna il loro ritorno ufficiale dopo oltre vent'anni di silenzio.
