Crimpshrine è stata una band punk rock proveniente da Berkeley, California. Formata nel 1982 da Aaron Cometbus, fondatore del celebre fanzine punk Cometbus, e dal suo amico Jeff Ott, il gruppo ha rapidamente guadagnato un seguito all'interno delle comunità DIY. Considerati uno dei gruppi punk più importanti, soprattutto nella scena della Bay Area, Crimpshrine è noto per la sua musica cruda e potente, influenzata da band come Black Flag e The Minutemen. Il loro sound si caratterizza per riff di chitarra distorti, batteria aggressiva e testi politici e introspettivi. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Last Time", "I Don't Care" e "No More Heroes".
