Firewind è una band di power metal greca formatasi nel 1998 come progetto del chitarrista Gus G. per promuovere il suo album demo *Nocturnal Symphony*. Nel 2001 la formazione si è consolidata con l'uscita dell'album *Between Heaven and Hell*.
