Brian Harold May ist ein britischer Gitarrist, Komponist und Musikproduzent, geboren am 19. Juli 1947 in Hampton, London. Er ist vor allem als Gründungsmitglied und Leadsänger der legendären Rockband Queen bekannt, mit der er von 1970 bis 2001 (und gelegentlich danach) zusammenarbeitete. May ist für seine virtuosen Auftritte, seinen einzigartigen Gitarrenstil und seine unvergesslichen Riffs bekannt. Neben seiner musikalischen Karriere ist May auch ein Astrophysiker und erhielt 2007 einen Doktortitel in Physik. Bevor er zu Queen stieß, war er Mitglied der Gruppe High Pass Filter. Zu seinen bekanntesten Songs gehören: 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'We Will Rock You', 'Another One Bites the Dust' und 'Who Wants to Live Forever'.
