R.E.M. è stata una band rock americana formatasi ad Athens, in Georgia, nel 1980. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti nella formazione dell'alternative rock e dell'indie, R.E.M. sono diventati uno dei gruppi rock più grandi al mondo nei primi anni '90.
