Status Quo ist eine englische Rockband, die 1962 gegründet wurde. Bekannt für ihren einfachen, aber effektiven Sound, der auf kraftvollen Gitar riffs und einem ansteckenden Boogie-Rhythmus basiert, hat Status Quo weltweit über 100 Millionen Platten verkauft. Die Band besteht aus Francis Rossi (Gesang, Gitarre), Rick Parfitt (Gitarre, Gesang) und anderen Musikern, die im Laufe der Jahre Teil der Band waren.
