Pinback è un gruppo indie rock formatosi a San Diego, California, nel 1998 da Armistead Burwell Smith IV e Rob Crow, entrambi cantanti, cantautori e multi-strumentisti. La formazione attuale comprende anche i batteristi Chris Prescott e Tom Zinser, che si alternano nei concerti.
