Gli Ammonal sono una band italiana di death melodico formatasi nel giugno 2008 a opera di Renzo (basso) e Leo (chitarra), già membri del gruppo EarthFlame. Dopo l'ingresso di Andrea alla chitarra, la formazione si è stabilizzata con l'aggiunta di Federico al tastierino nel febbraio 2009. Leo ha assunto anche il ruolo di cantante, mentre Moreno è entrato come batterista nell'ottobre dello stesso anno. Gli Ammonal hanno registrato la loro prima demo, *Beginning the end of everything*, nell'aprile 2010. La band si distingue per un sound death melodico originale, che trascende gli schemi tradizionali del genere. Attualmente sono impegnati nella promozione della propria musica attraverso concerti e la ricerca di un contratto discografico.
