Paco Ibáñez, pseudonimo di Francisco Ibáñez Gorostidi (Barcellona, 1930), è un chitarrista, cantante e compositore spagnolo considerato uno dei maggiori interpreti della canzone tradizionale iberica. La sua carriera artistica si distingue per la profonda attenzione alla poesia, dedicandosi a musicare i più importanti poeti di lingua spagnola, da Federico García Lorca a Pablo Neruda, passando per Miguel Hernández e Vicente Aleixandre. Ibáñez ha contribuito a diffondere il cantautorato spagnolo in tutto il mondo, collaborando con artisti internazionali come Joan Manuel Serrat e Silvio Rodríguez. Tra le sue canzoni più rappresentative si ricordano "El viejo marinero", "La luna y el río" e "Canción del amor perdido".
